Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) gives international customers the option to pay in their home currency.

Did you know? DCC is available at no additional cost and is fully card network compliant. It lets international cardholders choose to pay in their home currency—locking in the exchange rate at checkout—or opt to pay in Canadian dollars. Receipts clearly show the Canadian dollar amount, exchange rate, and total in the cardholder’s currency for easy reconciliation.

Tip

You can also choose from flexible in-person options—countertop and portable terminals or POS software—to accept credit, debit, and contactless payments. For online or on-the-go sales, secure tools like a virtual terminal can help you take payments from a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
